Due to Corona only delivery service Really very good food which was restaurant quality. There was also a small dessert and Christmas cookies. If you can eat there again, we'll be happy to stop by!

A restaurant where the food is worth it. Let's start with the employees. All employees were friendly and tried very hard. It was always asked if everything was fine with us etc. The ambience of the restaurant is not typically Greek but rather reminiscent of an old German restaurant. We still felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and already decorated. Let's get to dinner. Believe the most important. We found everything very tasty. It was all fresh and the meat was very juicy. Some comments here are a mystery to me. It was our first time here and we were treated very well. The food is delicious and nobody was preferred.

Very, very tasty food and friendly staff. From the outside rather inconspicuous but the food is exceptionally delicious! Haven't eaten so well in a long time. We got the restaurant recommended by our hotel and we really love it! If we weren't here on a short break, we would come again. However, if we come back to the corner here we will definitely come back. In terms of price, they are also very good on top of that. If I could give more stars I would give more Really worth a visit.

Unfortunately we have not had a positive experience. The reservation we made on the phone was not noted and instead of apologizing, we were treated like air. We were assigned a table, but we were not served, later rather rather than bad. An order was unfortunately forgotten, the desired was then brought with the note that the other table would have ordered it but we would get it now!?! The lady and the young man there were very friendly, whereas the owner was a grumpy, unfriendly Patriarch type who didn't pay attention to us, but the other guests did. The food was typically Greek, nothing special. The motto: "Come as guests, leave as friends" does not apply to us either.

Friends of the Kulinaris Card should avoid this store. Already with our call we notice, that we as "culinaris card - customers' are undesirable, because although the restaurant was empty, we were assigned a table only after repeated inquiries. The restaurant is rather sparsely decorated and sprayed only by the much too loud and at the same time annoying music a bit Greek charm. The restaurant was hardly heated, so we froze despite jacket (visit was in early October). You can look in the kitchen of the restaurant through a window, but I would advise against, if you still have something to eat. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and said he was only responsible for ordering drinks and the colleague would take care of the food order - so far so good. A short time later, the waiter reappeared and said he was responsible for our food order. The food (gyros with Metaxasoße) was rather bad mediocrity, but you could eat it. We will not be back.

It costs very little to pay 🥴

We have been here for dinner today and are very enthusiastic medium. It was not terribly bad, but not exorbitantly good. The dishes ordered by us needed, that the restaurant was almost empty for a very long time. 60 minutes waiting time with two occupied tables I found for the preparation of 3 main courses for a very long time. Well the ordered calamari were certainly now a bit more difficult to prepare. But the taste experience was quite sobering then. The ordered appetizer cream plate, were in my opinion finished products from the wholesale because they lacked the Greek character and the creams incl. The Tzazicki have not been a real treat. The flat bread was served in the microwave and had about 2 minutes rather the texture of bricks instead of delicious flatbread. Unfortunately the way out of Waltrop was not worth it. Unfortunately we can not judge the meat dishes correctly. This is mentioned for the sake of fairness ...

Very good Greek restaurant. The food tastes great, the service attentive and friendly. There is a terrace where you can eat outside in summer. There is also a hall for celebrations of all kinds. The host is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is always recommended. Also the price-performance ratio absolutely top.

Restaurant Vangelis offers classic Greek dishes. The waiting times between the courses were short and the waiter was always there when it was necessary. The dishes had a fantastic quality and were deliciously flavored. The atmosphere was very cozy and was accompanied by Greek music. Through a window you could always catch a glimpse of the kitchen and watch the chef at work. We like to come back and a visit is worthwhile. The prices are very good in relation to the good quality of the food.

This is a fantastic place! We got several items to share, so were able to taste a wide variety of the available food. Mussels, shrimp, octopus, calamari, lamb, gyros...everything was delicious! This is not a fast food place. Come with people you love, take your time, and enjoy!
